Mon December 12, 2011
Hawaii Preparatory Academy welcomed the holiday season with a concert on Sunday, December 11, at the school's Gates Performing Arts Center. The concert was free and open to the public.
About 65 students performed under the direction of Upper School music instructor Marina Tichotsky. The HPA choir and instrumental ensemble presented many holiday favorites. The program included a special appearance by the Musical Theatre class performing selections from “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.” The Theatre Production class also presented selected scenes incorporating music and dance from “Stories Gone Wilde,” a play featuring dramatizations of children’s stories by author Oscar Wilde.
