On Wednesday, November 23, Upper School students volunteered their time for one of 23 service projects around campus, in Waimea, and in Kona. Projects included highway and coastal cleanups, a food drive, designing and building bee boxes for community members, earning CPR and AED certification, working on an organic macadamia nut farm, entertaining seniors in the community, assisting with projects at Montessori School and Punana Leo o Waimea, working at Ulu La‘au, helping with maintenance projects at the Makali‘i, making comfort pillows for cancer patients, and more!
